Well, now we know: The professional football star’s signature scent is allegedly Louis Vuitton Météore—a clean, citrusy cologne with notes of mandarin orange, pink pepper, and vetiver.
Back in 2022, Fox Sports reporter Erin Andrews even called the Kansas City Chiefs tight end the “best-smelling” player in the NFL, on her podcast. She elaborated during a recent Today appearance with Hoda Kotb and Jenna Bush: “I sat down with him—he smells like a dream. He’ll say, ‘It’s Louis, baby.’” The trio went on to say Kelce is “one of those guys that gets in an elevator and smells good.”
Andrews said Kelce identified the cologne as Météore after she texted him to find out the name for her podcast. The scent was created by perfumer Jacques Cavallier Belletrud for Louis Vuitton and is meant to evoke “boundless energy,” as well as “power and light.” Fans of the fragrance liken it to fresh laundry. But perhaps the best compliment? On Today, Andrews noted that after hugging Kelce, she ended up smelling like him all day long—so the scent clearly sticks around. That longevity comes at cost: $450 for 6.8 fluid ounces, and $320 for 3.4 fluid ounces.
