On Monday, OG beauty vlogger Nikkie de Jager, known as NikkieTutorials, broke some huge news to her fans. The 25-year-old YouTube star shared with her 12.9 million subscribers that she is a transgender woman.
In the days following, Nikkie was mostly off the grid, but the outpouring of love didn't stop during that time. Fans, friends, and fellow vloggers all showed their support, including James Charles, Manny MUA, Nikita Dragun, and friend-turned-enemy-turned-friend-again, Jeffree Star.
Earlier today, Nikkie make her return to social media in order to thank her fans. She shared a sweet message on Twitter, that reads:
"I’ll never be able to put into words what these last few days have been like. thank you for accepting me and teaching me that on the other side of fear lies freedom. I love you so unconditionally, always."
Even though she was blackmailed, Nikkie seems to be happily living her most authentic self. So far, her video has since racked up 24 million views and counting. Watch it for yourself.
