If we had to pick a theme for Zendaya’s Challengers press tour, we’d go with “glitzy prep.” While promoting her new sports film, which hits theaters in the U.S. on April 26, the Emmy-winning actor and her stylist, Law Roach, have been putting together even more winning ensembles that continue their streak of “method dressing,” by winking to the sport at the center of the film while adding their own dose of glamour.

Case in point: For her latest appearance in Rome, the Euphoria star wore a custom Loewe look that put an electric twist on the tennis dress. The plunging design initially looked like something you might find on the court, yet it was dotted with hundreds of tiny rhinestones, which made the silver material shimmer with every step and gave the mini a disco spin. The dress also featured thick black stripes along the neckline, arm holes, and waist, while the pleated skirt included strips of bright white material inside the folds.

Zendaya accessorized with a few bangle bracelets and silver interlocking circle stud earrings. But her shoes were the real prize.

Over at Loewe, we’ve seen creative director Jonathan Anderson make heels out of balloons, roses, nail polish bottles, cracked eggs, and more. Today, he added a new object to that list: tennis balls. The designer crafted a custom pair of pointy cotton-colored heels with fluorescent tennis balls skewered onto the stilettos for Zendaya’s latest look. The shoes added a bright pop of color to the actor’s sporty fit, and they certainly helped sell the tennis theme.

So far, Zendaya’s Challengers looks have not disappointed. For her first press stop, she wore another custom-made Loewe look: a glittery green gown with a silhouette of a tennis player on the front. Then, this past weekend, she donned a green-and-white checkered jacket dress from the Louis Vuitton Spring/Summer 2013 collection, a shiny satin co-ord, and a gauzy white gown.
