The finale of Emily in Paris season 3 left viewers in absolute shock as the wedding of the season turned into a big truth fest that left multiple people, including Emily, brokenhearted. When a love triangle turns into something more, things are bound to get messy. But with some sparks flying between Emily and Gabriel again, and tensions high among the entire group from Camille's outburst, there's definitely more drama to look forward to. So what can expect next?

Here's everything you need to know about Emily in Paris season 4.

When will Emily in Paris season 4 premiere?

Sadly, we don’t know juuust yet when Emily in Paris season 4 will premiere, but based on the show’s history, we can make an educated guess.

Season 1 hit Netflix way back in October 2020, season 2 debuted in December 2021, and season 3 just premiered on December 21, 2022. However, due to the Writers Guild of America and the SAG-AFTRA strikes, things were delayed more than usual as they fought to get a fair contract. So things are still a bit up in the air in terms of a release date!

Have they started filming yet?

Sadly, they haven't had a chance to just yet due to the strikes. But Netflix does have a plan to jump into filming ASAP, especially with the Summer Olympics taking place in Paris in 2024, which will also ban filming in the city for several months. According to Variety, Netflix plans to start filming in January, if a SAG-AFTRA deal goes through before then.

Who is in the Emily in Paris season 4 cast?

While the Emily in Paris season 4 cast has yet to be confirmed, we’d say we’re probs qualified enough to take a good guess at who will likely be appearing, starting with:

  • Lily Collins as Emily
  • Ashley Park as Mindy
  • Lucas Bravo as Gabriel
  • Camille Razat as Camille
  • Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu as Sylvie
  • Samuel Arnold as Julien
  • Bruno Gouery as Luc
  • William Abadie as Antoine

SPOILER AHEAD:

Because we know you’re likely wondering about the one and only Lucien Laviscount (aka Alfie), we’re gonna have to say that we’re honestly not too sure about him after the whole exit-from-Camille’s-failed-wedding thing, but (!!) that’s not to say that’s the last we’ll be seeing of him, so who knows. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

What do we know about the Emily in Paris season 4 plot?

Not much is known yet about the plot of Emily in Paris season 4 (which is currently delayed because of the writers’ strike, FWIW), but Lily Collins is doing the lord’s work and giving fans some very early (and, yeah, very vague) teases about what’s in store for the upcoming season.

“We are getting ready for season 4 of Emily in Paris and are so excited to see what’s next for Emily. It’s safe to say we ended on a dramatic note last season, and surprise! It does not end there,” she explained in a new video that was shown at Netflix’s Tudum fan event in São Paulo, Brazil. She also promised “answers” for all the big cliff-hangers from season 3, like what is happening with Emily and Gabriel.

In addition to cliff-hanger answers and drama, Lily let fans know that Emily will be venturing away from Paris in the upcoming season.

“What I can tell is we have more fun, more fashion, and, of course, more drama in store for you all,” she added. “Emily is going to have to decide if everything she’s ever wanted is really what she needs, and while Emily’s heart will always remain true to Paris, her life takes some unexpected twists this season. Don’t be surprised to find her on a Roman holiday.”
